Make the World a Better Place with a Robot
Robots can help people with disabilities.
The world of technology and robotics has the potential to change the world for the better—especially for individuals with disabilities. We just have to DREAM BIG! The POPCS ROBOTICS TEAM 3802 ROBOPOP, is sponsoring an art contest open to all grade levels. Winners will receive t-shirts with their designs printed on them. In addition, the shirts will be given to those attending any grade level POPCS Robotics, First Lego League (FLL) and First Robotics Competitions (FRC) competitions.
Sketch an original design for a robot that could be used to help a person who has a learning disability, physical disability, or other type of impairment. Use BLACK PENCIL, PEN, OR MARKER to sketch your assisting robot on notebook or white paper.
Write 3-5 sentences explaining how your robot would be able to help people with disabilities overcome their obstacles.
Be sure to include your FIRST AND LAST NAME, YOUR GRADE LEVEL, AND YOUR TEACHER/ADVISORS NAME.
All official drawing and explanation entries must be turned into the Front Office or High School Computer Lab no later than 3:30 p.m. FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH.
