The STEM Program at Prince of Peace Christian School designed a science curriculum tailored to the individual student to meet the demands of the 21st Century.

Whether your target is business, economics, education, or engineering; your ambition is surgeon, broker, analyst, or agent; whether your interests are persons, animals, plants, or minerals, technology is essential. This present generation must connect with technology.
All companies use technology and one-fourth of all companies create technology. A college-bound graduate must either know of or know about technology to matriculate, graduate, get a job, keep a job, and attain a career.
Prince of Peace Christian School understands the need. We designed a science curriculum tailored to the individual student.
In the past, our science classes consisted of honors and regular students, differentiated mostly by the depth and complexity of very similar courses. Now, for those seeking deeper science, we offer an additional STEM track. STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Our approach optimizes and tailors science education to correlate with the interests of the student. Students in the STEM track will receive instruction appropriate for a career emphasizing science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Students in the Arts will receive instruction appropriate for careers in other fields where science and mathematics are important but not the major focus.
With this STEM approach, High School students are not choosing a career path. They are choosing life interests and matching them with innate skills. We anticipate that students will migrate between the STEM and Arts paths depending upon the depth with which they want to investigate particular fields of study. A student’s direction may change with maturity and with the broadening of academic exposure.
At Prince of Peace Christian School, our students learn the wonders of God’s creation along both paths. For more information contact our science director, Mr. Rick Knotts.
